Overview

Picture yourself stepping into 85 acres of lush, tropical landscape framed by enchanting hues of white sand and turquoise water.

This isn’t a figment of my imagination, but my experience at Coconut Bay St Lucia.

Nestled on the southern Atlantic side of the island, this all-inclusive resort exudes a distinct charm that’s hard to resist.

Coconut Bay, or as some fondly call it, Cocobay or Cocoa Bay, boasts 250 rooms, cleverly divided into two distinct sections – Splash and Harmony.

The former is brimming with family-friendly activities, and the latter is a tranquil retreat exclusively for adults.

So, whether you’re a couple, a solo traveler, a family, or a group of pals, there’s something here that will strike the right chord with your vacation mood.

Conveniently, it’s a mere 15-minute ride from Hewanorra International Airport, a blessing that saves you hefty taxi fares.

The only catch?

The occasional roar of an airplane might break the serene vibe, but it’s a small trade-off.

While the beach is a dream come true, keep in mind that the Atlantic can get a bit windy and boast more seaweed than the Caribbean.

If serene water for the little ones is your top priority, a Caribbean-side resort might be more up your alley.

Interestingly, within the same property sits Serenity at Coconut Bay.

It’s an adults-only luxury retreat featuring 35 suites, private plunge pools, and personal butler service.

Furthermore, there’s a gourmet dining experience at the Greathouse – a prime choice for those aged 21 and above.

Strolling through Coconut Bay St Lucia, I couldn’t help but succumb to its charm.

The refreshing pool water rippled around me as I relaxed in the lazy river, a fruity cocktail in hand.

Located on the north end of the island atop a cliff, Cap Maison is a luxuriously elegant boutique hotel. A secluded beach is at the bottom of the hill. While the beach is beautiful, the steep stairway may be a deterrent for those with really young kids.

Golfers will enjoy its proximity to the St Lucia Golf and Country Club. There’s a spa, a fitness center, gourmet restaurants and a gift shop. Two and three-bedroom villas are nice options for large families and groups.

Cap Maison is a romantic choice for couples but also welcoming for families with kids. Children under 12 stay and eat free.

Conclusion

If you’ve been scouring the internet for Coconut Bay St Lucia reviews, let me share a slice of my experience.

You know, if you’re seeking a cool spot for either a lovebird’s escape or a lively family vacay with kids’ clubs, pools, and even a water park, Coconut Bay indeed strikes that balance between thrill and chill.

Granted, some folks have mentioned a bit of a retro vibe in certain areas.

If that’s not your jam, you might want to look elsewhere.

But as far as all-inclusives go, Coconut Bay in St Lucia might just be your happy place.

With a friendly crew, a buzzing entertainment scene, fun stuff to do, and a gastronomic array of on-site dining, it offers tons of blissful experiences.
